Rhinoplasty: a result that belongs to your face.
Reshaping your nose is not only about appearance. For most people the aim is facial balance, confidence and, where necessary, improved breathing.
Understanding rhinoplasty and its purpose
Rhinoplasty is a procedure designed to improve the form and structure of the nose while preserving facial balance. Alongside aesthetic refinement, it can also support nasal function. Approached thoughtfully, rhinoplasty enhances the features without making them look altered.
- Improving facial symmetry and overall proportions
- Correcting and reshaping visible irregularities
- Addressing breathing problems or long-held concerns
- Strengthening confidence without changing who you are
What defines a good rhinoplasty surgeon?
Choosing the right surgeon is the most important step towards a satisfying result. A good doctor combines technical expertise with an artistic eye and a deep understanding of facial anatomy.
- Extensive and regular experience in rhinoplasty
- A strong focus on natural-looking results
- Individual facial analysis rather than a standard approach
- Open communication and realistic management of expectations
The Neda Deniz approach
Every treatment plan is created with facial balance, skin type and long-term results in mind. The aim is not perfection but harmony — a nose that completes the face naturally.
Many patients worry that the results will look too obvious. Our focus is on subtle refinements rather than a bold transformation: a result that respects facial proportions, avoids exaggerated contours and retains a lasting naturalness.
Your journey: step by step
Understanding the process helps you feel more at ease and better prepared. The rhinoplasty journey is guided carefully from beginning to end: a remote preliminary assessment, a face-to-face consultation, surgery, the first check-ups and follow-up after your return.
Over time, swelling and bruising subside and the results gradually become clearer. The final form usually settles within a few months.
What is included in a rhinoplasty package in Turkey?
Neda Deniz is an intermediary agency holding Turkish Ministry of Health authorisation AK-1032 for international health tourism. Surgery is performed by our contracted specialist surgeons, and we coordinate every non-medical step of the process in one place. When preparing your quote we confirm item by item what is included, so there are no surprise costs later.
- Remote pre-assessment from your photos and an initial treatment plan
- In-person consultation with the surgeon in Istanbul and pre-operative tests
- Organisation of surgery, hospital and anaesthesia
- Airport pick-up, transfers between hotel and clinic, and accommodation
- Check-up appointments and removal of the splint and stitches
- Remote follow-up with the same consultant after you return home
What determines the cost of rhinoplasty in Turkey?
No two noses are the same, so a single list price is not realistic. The price depends mainly on how extensive the surgery will be, which is why we want to see your photos and hear your expectations before quoting a figure.
- Technique: open or closed approach, a small tip-only correction or a full rhinoplasty involving bone and cartilage
- First operation or revision: previously operated noses have more difficult tissue and often need cartilage grafts
- Functional correction: if a deviated septum or enlarged turbinates are treated in the same session, time and scope increase
- Need for grafts: if the septum does not provide enough cartilage, ear or rib cartilage may be used
- Surgeon and hospital: the surgeon's experience, the hospital's facilities and length of admission
- Length of stay and whether you travel with a companion
Sample itinerary in Istanbul: 7–10 days
The schedule below is for a typical first rhinoplasty. The exact programme depends on the surgeon's assessment at the consultation.
| Day | What happens? |
|---|---|
| Day 1 | Airport pick-up, transfer to the hotel, rest |
| Day 2 | Consultation with the surgeon, nasal analysis, blood tests and anaesthetic assessment |
| Day 3 | Surgery; most patients stay one night in hospital for observation |
| Day 4–6 | Rest at the hotel, cold compresses, an interim check-up if needed |
| Day 7–10 | Splint and stitch removal, final check-up, flight home |
Who is suitable for rhinoplasty?
The surgeon always decides whether you are a suitable candidate. Still, there are a few basic criteria worth knowing before the consultation:
- Facial and nasal bone growth is complete (usually after age 17–18)
- Your general health allows general anaesthesia
- Realistic expectations; the goal is harmony with your own face, not a different face
- Being able to stop smoking for a few weeks before and after surgery
- Telling the doctor in advance if you take blood thinners or supplements
Techniques, recovery stages and the questions to ask when choosing a surgeon are covered in detail in our rhinoplasty guide — you can meet the doctors we work with on our contracted specialist doctors page.
Why go through an intermediary agency?
The biggest worry for patients travelling from abroad or another city is who to contact if something goes wrong. Filling exactly that gap is our job.
- A registered agency with Ministry of Health authorisation (AK-1032) and TÜRSAB membership
- The same consultant from the first message to the last check-up, so you never have to start over
- Being clear from the start about the doctors' specialties and who will perform your surgery
- A line of contact that stays open after you return home
Frequently asked
When do the results become clear?
Swelling and bruising are normal in the first weeks. Noticeable improvement is seen within a few weeks, while the final form of the nose settles over months as the tissues fully settle.
Will my breathing problem be corrected as well?
If there is a functional problem alongside the aesthetic correction, it can be addressed in the same procedure. Whether this is possible is assessed at the consultation.
How long do I need to stay in Türkiye?
Usually 7–10 days. The first check-up and the removal of stitches and the splint take place within this time; the exact schedule is confirmed at the consultation.
Open or closed rhinoplasty: which is better?
There is no single right answer. For small tip and hump corrections a closed technique may be enough; for revisions, marked deviation or cases needing grafts, the open technique gives the surgeon more control. The decision is made at the consultation based on the structure of your nose.
When can I fly after surgery?
Most patients are cleared to fly home once the splint and stitches are removed, about a week after surgery. Your surgeon confirms the exact date at the final check-up.
I have had nose surgery before. Is revision possible?
Yes, but a revision is more complex than a first operation, and usually at least a year should pass after the first surgery so the tissues can settle. Details and photos of your previous operation make the pre-assessment much easier.
Can I travel alone?
Yes; our consultant accompanies you for transfers and check-ups. Even so, having a companion with you in the first days after surgery makes you noticeably more comfortable.
