Education and career

    Born in İzmir on 6 October 1975.

  2. Secondary school

    He graduated from İzmir Boys' High School.

  3. Medicine

    He received the title of medical doctor on graduating from Dokuz Eylül University Faculty of Medicine.

  4. Specialism

    He completed his specialist training in the Department of Plastic and Reconstructive Surgery at Kocaeli University Faculty of Medicine. Thesis subject: “An Investigation of the Effects of Hyperbaric Oxygen Therapy on Fibrovascular Growth on Porous Polyethylene Implants Placed Beneath Burns in Rats”.

  5. 2004

    He completed the EBOPRAS-approved International Vascular and Nerve Microsurgery hands-on course in Timișoara, Romania.

  6. 2005

    As part of Doctors for Peace – Interplast, he took part in the “Let Children Smile” event in Nakhchivan, which provided free surgery to 200 patients with congenital cleft lip and palate or burn injuries.

  7. 2005

    He was part of the team that operated free of charge on 80 patients in Nakhchivan and Iğdır during a second Interplast initiative.

  8. 2009

    He completed hands-on laser liposuction training in Frankfurt.
