He graduated from Trabzon Anatolian High School.

He completed his studies at Marmara University Faculty of Dentistry. After graduating, he began his specialist training in the Department of Oral, Dental and Maxillofacial Surgery at Başkent University Faculty of Dentistry.

He completed his rotations in the departments of Anaesthesiology and Reanimation, Ear, Nose and Throat and Plastic Surgery at Başkent University Hospital.

He received the title of specialist in oral, dental and maxillofacial surgery and doctor of science on presenting his doctoral thesis, “The Effectiveness of Antibiotic Prophylaxis in the Oral Tissues of Patients with Chronic Renal Failure”.

He completed his military service as a specialist in oral, dental and maxillofacial surgery at Diyarbakır Military Hospital.
